I hosted my first photography training course way back in 2012, since then I’ve held sell out wedding, landscape and business photography workshops around the UK and Europe including London, Paris, Venice and Italian Castles.
My training courses are practical hands on photography and business days, teaching real world techniques which I use day in, day out in my own wedding photography business.

Wedding, landscape and Wildlife photography workshops and training courses are an ideal way of building your business, learning new techniques and styles as well as trying new creative ideas to add the wow factor to your photography. Photography workshops and portfolio days are about taking photographs and during the day you’ll have plenty of time doing just that, hands on practical learning with expert tuition will ensure the new techniques you learn on a training day will be quickly remembered, allowing you to create your own stunning photographs, whether its Landscape Photography, Wedding Photography or Widlife Photography.

There are lots of wedding photographers and lots of wedding photography training courses out there, the courses offered by myself are designed to help you build your business and create your brand style with real world advice and methods of working we use day in day out.
The number of attendees are limited on each course, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to photograph, learn and ask questions as I demonstrate my techniques, lighting and settings I use to create my wedding images.

Glencoe, Scotland Winter Landscapes

One of the most magnificent and photogenic landscapes in the UK, Glencoe and the surrounding area is a photographers paradise. During the three day workshop we’ll explore the Glencoe valley with rugged mountains, waterfalls and grand vistas as well as heading a little further afield to photograph a number of other stunning locations.
As well as the stunning location of Glencoe with waterfalls, towering mountains and amazing vistas, we also plan to photograph two historic and photogenic castles and the viaduct made famous in Harry Potter.
Carlton Towers East Yorkshire – Winter wedding workshop

Wedding Photography Training Course – During the day I will be teaching and demonstrating my wedding photography techniques and shooting as I would on a real wedding day. The equipment is the same as I use on a real wedding and all the advice is real world and works day in, day out to create stunning wow images regardless of location, weather and the many obstacles wedding photography throws at us. We will look at how we control the environment, the lighting and create the overall image whether we are using video light, flash on or off the camera, or simply daylight. Followed by an editing webinar
Venice Italy – Landscape Photography Workshop
March 30th – April 2nd 2026
A landscape photography mecca, the island of Venice will be our home for four days of Landscape photography training. During
the workshop I’ll be teaching photography techniques including long exposure with the use of filters, creating HDR images, Multi image panoramic, focus stacking, editing in Lightroom and Photoshop the workshop will include sunrise,sunset, daytime and after-dark as we explore the stunning main island of Venice and surrounding islands including the colourful Burano.

Glencoe wedding photography training – Scotland
April 20 and 21st 2026
Glencoe, one of the most iconic landscape photographer locations in the whole of the UK will be the best for our wedding photography workshop. Think landscape and wedding photography combined with our bride and groom models against waterfalls and mountains of this iconic location in the Scottish highlands. We will be shooting with flash natural light and even the opportunity for drones (not essential).
Snowdonia Landscape Photography Workshop
October 27th – 30th 2026
The land of Fire and Ice, the impressive scenery of Snowdonia is a photographers mecca, volcanic mountains and glacial valleys combined with the coast and stunning island of Anglesey make this a location packed workshop featuring waterfalls, mountains, lakes, lighthouses, beaches and more. During our intensive 4 day landscape photography workshop we’ll be working from sunrise to past sunset creating dramatic photos of mountains, waterfalls, lakes, lighthouses, castles and more with techniques such as focus stacking, bracketing, long exposure using filters and much much more.
